About Dr. Smith

James T. Smith, Jr. DMD, MAGD

Dr. James T. Smith is a dentist in Torrington, Connecticut who specializes in providing excellent adult dental care.

He obtained his doctorate in dentistry from Tufts University and completed his residency at Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Smith was awarded the status of Master from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1995. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.

Dr. Smith firmly believes that given the proper information and choices, patients will do everything they can to maintain an optimum oral environment. He is dedicated to educating patients on the importance of and helping them to achieve optimum oral care. He strives to provide an environment that promotes patient’s desire for good oral health, and encourages them to do whatever is necessary to keep their teeth for as long as possible.
